Sending a text message, not to a person, but to a location. That’s what the iPhone-app Dropp does.

Just think about it, this could be the new method to report a missing cat. I just downloaded it just to try it out. Besides text messages you can also drop pictures. You don’t have to be on site to do this. On a Google map you can drop a pin to the location you want to share something.

Before you Dropp you can set to who it’s visible, to only you, friends or everyone.
