Watching These Rappers Fall Off Stage While Performing

Let’s be honest. Most rappers could be better performers. On tape, they may sound great, but the live shows are at a different level. They scream too much; you can hear their voice playing in the background. At the same time, they lipsync, a big crew standing there doing nothing, are just some of the annoyances during their performance. But sometimes things can go left, which may be due to their own doing.

So in today’s video, we’re showing you clips of rappers falling off stage during their performance. It can be caused by them doing too much/getting overly excited, or bad luck.

All The People Drake Took Shots At On ‘Her Loss’

Drake and Jay-Z are known to be the masters of taking subliminal shots on record. Drake has been doing it for years, sometimes even getting away with it. Keep this in mind because some of the shots on Drake’s latest collaboration album with 21 Savage had people speculating who they may be referring to. On the other hand, there may be one or two tracks on which he goes straight at people’s throats.

Drake released his collaboration album with 21 Savage, titled Her Loss, not too long ago.It was an enjoyable album, I mean, 21 Savage and Drake never miss, so I didn’t expect anything less of this project.

But some of the biggest highlights of this album were the shots being taken at everybody. Drake did not hold back with his lyrics.

Do you remember when DaBaby namedropped Megan Thee Stallion on his album? That did not go as he expected. Of course, the track on which he mentioned her got streamed because people were shocked at him spilling the details like that. But besides that, there wasn’t any other reason to listen. That is also why the album performed horribly compared to DaBaby’s other albums.

The difference between DaBaby namedropping and Drake doing the same is that ‘Her Loss’ had other selling points besides just shots being thrown. I think we can agree that this is not either’s best work, but it was still one we could enjoy. The numbers don’t lie either. Chartdata announced that ‘Her Loss’ sold 404K in its first week.

But this is not an album review, so let’s get to all the people Drake threw shots at or dissed in a way on this album. First off

Kanye West

Last year, Drake and Kanye West put an end to their beef. But now Drake raps that he only squashed the beef because of J. Prince. Listen to what he had to say on ‘Circo Loco’:

Kanye, however, refused to react negatively to Drake’s lyrics. On Twitter, Kanye said:

“Enough already I done gave this man his flowers multiple times Let’s really see who are real ops are in this music game Imagine all the rappers on the same side and everyone cleaning up each others contracts It’s kingdom time Love Drake #lovespeech

Serena Williams’ Husband

Drake and Serena Williams were rumored to be in a romantic relationship years ago before she got married. They seemed to have kept it cool afterward, but that didn’t stop Drake from getting at Alexis Ohanian, Serena’s husband of 5 years. Listen to what he said on the track ‘Middle of the Ocean’:

I hate that he just mentioned Serena’s husband, just as Serena’s husband because the man is pretty accomplished. In my opinion, Drake mentioned him like this for one or two reasons:

  • It fits the bar/rhyme he was delivering
  • it was more impactful
  • Or, it may have been simply because it would have taken people googling to find out who Drizzy was talking about if he mentioned the man by name.

Whatever it may be, Serena’s husband replied on Twitter, saying:

“The reason I stay winning is because I’m relentless about being the absolute best at whatever I do — including being the best groupie for my wife & daughter.”

Ice Spice

We all remember that Drake had Ice Spice perform at this year’s OVO fest in Toronto. He had her perform her only song people really knew, you know, that Munch song. If you know the title, let me know in the comments.

Nobody knows what really went down afterward, but it appeared that Drake unfollowed her not long after. People were saying that Drake got shot down by her, but those are rumors.

Fast-forward, fans are saying that Drake was talking about her on ‘BackOutsideBoyz’ when he said, “She a 10 tryna rap, it’s good on mute, yeah (It’s good on mute, shh).”

When asked about being unfollowed by Drake, Ice Spice kept it cute.

Megan Thee Stallion

Like I said in the beginning, Drake’s a master of subliminal. No wonder this line on ‘Circo Loco’ sounded like a shot at Megan Thee Stallion. On this track, Drake said the following: “This bitch lie ’bout getting shots, but she still a stallion.”

Remember the alleged shooting incident between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez? That whole incident has me scratching my head still.

And after first listening to Drake’s bars on ‘Circo Loco,’ you can’t deny that it does sound like a shot at Megan Thee Stallion. It sounds like Drake agrees that Megan is lying about getting shot by Tory Lanez.

Megan also felt that way, and she responded by saying:

“Stop using my shooting for clout bitch ass Niggas! Since when tf is it cool to joke abt women getting shot! You niggas especially RAP NIGGAS ARE LAME! Ready to boycott bout shoes and clothes but dog pile on a black woman when she says one of y’all homeboys abused her”

She continued in another tweet, saying:

“And when the mf facts come out, remember all y’all hoe ass favorite rappers that stood behind a Nigga that SHOT A FEMALE.”

Drake remained silent, but Lil Yachty, who appeared to have been involved in making the track, refuted that the lyrics had anything to do with Megan. He says it’s a line about women lying about getting butt shots/body enhancements.

DRAM

DRAM also caught a stray on the album, and he was not happy at all.

On ‘BackOutsideBoyz’ Drake said:

“Tried to bring the drama to me. He ain’t know how we cha-cha slide…”

This whole thing between the two started way back in 2015 when Drake released ‘Hotline Bling,’ a song that, according to DRAM, was a copy of his own hit single, ‘Cha Cha,’ which was released earlier. DRAM ensured everybody knew how he felt about ‘Hotline Bling.’ He did stay classy and moved on after that and even tweeted:

“Yeah, I feel I got jacked for my record…But I’m GOOD.”

So you can imagine how he felt after listening to Drake talk his ish on ‘Her Loss’ after all these years.

DRAM hopped on Twitter with a message:

The man just wants his one-on-one.

Bonus, Adidas

I know Adidas is not a person, but they caught one too. I sometimes forget how Drake feels about Adidas, but on the track ‘Broke Boys,’ he caught me off guard with the line, “Woah, I got more stripes than Adidas (Yeah, I got the stripes, but fuck Adidas, nigga).

Drake, who reps Nike, has a whole beef with Adidas, but we’ll dig into that entire beef in a separate video. This bar may also be him coming up for Kanye West, who was just ditched by the brand. We’ll never know the truth behind some of these. But that was it.

New Video: J. Cole – Amari

J. Cole comes through with the visuals to Amari, from his last project ‘The Off-Season‘. The album dropped last week and is projected to sell between 280,000-310,000 album-equivalent units. With these numbers, Cole’s album is on pace to become the highest-grossing album of 2021 thus far. The Off-Season will be J. Cole‘s sixth straight no. 1 album.

J. Cole References Fight With Diddy On New Record

After getting teased for a while now, J. Cole finally released his album, The Off Season. His first since the release of KOD back in 2018. So you can only imagine that real Cole fans have been dying for a new album. I couldn’t keep my eyes open yesterday waiting for it to drop, so I had to enjoy it this morning on my way to work.

There is a lot to say of the album, like hearing Camron randomly on there. But the thing that caught my attention the most is when Cole referenced his fight with Diddy on ‘let.go.my.hand’. Mind you this alleged fight happened way back in 2013 at an after party for MTV VMA. There were rumors circulating about the whole thing, but they were denied by both Puff and Cole.

Back then it was crazy to even imagine J. Cole fighting and fighting Diddy at that. But there were too much noise about this going around for it to be totally untrue. But today we got a confirmation from Cole himself.

On the track Cole raps “But sometimes a nigga pulled my card, tryna expose me for a fraud/And with my reputation at stake, I was scufflin’ just to save face. Couple wins, couple losses/Some broken up too quick to call it/My last scrap was with Puff Daddy, who would’ve thought it?/I bought that nigga album in seventh grade and played it so much/You would’ve thought my favorite rapper was Puff/Back then I ain’t know shit, now I know too much.”

So it appears that the rumors were true after all. One thing we need to find out now is what the reason was.

But all is cool between the two in 2021 as Diddy appears on the outro of ‘let.go.my.hand.’
