I recenty read an article in that made me shake my head: Apple plans to develop a system that will sense when a smartphone user is trying to record a live event, and then switch off the device’s camera.
Anybody holding up their iPhone will find it triggers infra-red sensors installed at the venue. You will still be able to use the other functions of the phone.
It seems like Apple is trying to keep organisers and broadcasters happy.
Or is Apple trying to come with a way to charge people to film at a concert? I hope this is just one of those patents that we won’t hear about no more.
