You don’t hear to much about Jay-Z in new, but as he already told us, he has 99 problems.
Jay is facing some problem from an Egyptian composer over the rights to a his 2000 hit “Big Pimpin’.”
The nephew of Egyptian composer Baligh Hamdy is close to taking the rapper to court, claiming that he ruined his uncle’s song, “Khosara, Khosara,” and that his family has not been fairly compensated for its use as the lead instrumental motif in the hit.
Not even the man himself, but his nephew? After more than 10 years? Really? C’mon son!!
Osama Ahmed Fahmy, Hamdy’s nephew, is pushing to get a cut of Jay-Z’s revenue for the song prior to the 2007 filing of his lawsuit up until now, including a portion of the emcee’s concert profits.
Talking to Billboard Limp Bizkit frontman, Fred Durst revealed some info on their first single on Cash Money Records.
They are putting the finishing touches to “Ready To Go”
“I want to get it out there soon, as soon as we can. The song is already done for the most part. I’ve got a couple little things I might poke around or punch in on my verse. And I want their guys to take a crack at the mix. I mixed it myself; I think it sounds very big, but I really love the way their guys are mixing stuff, so I want to see what they can do with it.”

This is related to an incident last year when
when members of Waka’s entourage opened fire on cars after being shot at … an incident that resulted in at least two arrests.
Now, NC ain’t taking any chances — refusing to allow ANY members of Waka’s entourage to engage in private or protective security services while Waka’s in the Tar Heel State. If they fail to comply, the NC Protective Services Board promises to file criminal charges Full Story TMZ
I usually get lost in these guys debates, but this was actually a good one. After Nicki’s Grammy performance everyone started to doubt her. I mean she’s far away from her rap roots. Look at her “Starship” single, but she also released “Roman Reloaded” which in my opinion is not pop at all.
So the question to you is: Can Nicki Minaj still be considered an MC in 2012 or is she 100% Pop?
