The song of day 5 reminds me of an old girlfriend. Before we got together she had an ex she was talking about the whole time. I just wanted to get over that phase, so we could move along. And for sure we did .
This took place in the days of the boy band ‘N Sync. they had a song that just matched the situation perfectly.
To make it all hotter they had Nelly collaborating. I had that song on repeat like everyday. My girlfriend loved it and so did I.
The reason this song makes me sad, is because it reminds me of my late uncle.
Every time I hear it I get tears in my eyes, even while writing this right now. This man got killed like 12 years ago. But we were like homies, best friends, sure he was older, but we hung like we were the best buddies.
The song I’m talking about is Diddy’s (at that time Puff Daddy’s), “I’ll Be Missing You”.
I knew this would happen, but I thought it would be in my second week in.
But hey, shit happens. I’m a bit late with this post, left a bit out, cause it’s a pain in the ass blogging on the phone.
Today’s song, I don’t even kniw the words to it. I only know the part of “It’s a beatiful day, ta dan ta dan ta dan”… really love that. lol
My favorite song, this didn’t take much. There are several songs on my favorite list, but I still think this one is the best though. It’s my favorite of all time.
