North Carolina Not Happy With Waka Flocka’s Security Team

The state of North Carolina made it clear that Waka Flocka’s ‘Security Team’ is not welcome in their state, this according to new legal docs. Waka Flocka real name Juaquin Malphurs was slapped with a cease and desist letter by the North Carolina Protective Services Board, saying Waka’s security team is unwelcome at his upcoming concerts this month … because they are unlicensed in the state.

This is related to an incident last year when

when members of Waka’s entourage opened fire on cars after being shot at … an incident that resulted in at least two arrests.

Now, NC ain’t taking any chances — refusing to allow ANY members of Waka’s entourage to engage in private or protective security services while Waka’s in the Tar Heel State. If they fail to comply, the NC Protective Services Board promises to file criminal charges

Debate: Is Nicki Minaj Still An MC?

I usually get lost in these guys debates, but this was actually a good one. After Nicki’s Grammy performance everyone started to doubt her. I mean she’s far away from her rap roots. Look at her “Starship” single, but she also released “Roman Reloaded” which in my opinion is not pop at all.

So the question to you is: Can Nicki Minaj still be considered an MC in 2012 or is she 100% Pop?

Is Hip Hop To Blame For Rush Limbaugh’s Comment Towards Sandra Fluke?

Rush Limbaugh keeps losing sponsors threatening his driven income, which has been valued at over $50 million per year. Last week he called a Georgetown student a “slut” and a “prostitute” “slut” and a “prostitute,” for attempting to testify at a House committee on contraception, arguing that women who ask the public to help pay for their birth control should post sex tapes online “so we can all watch.”

He tried to justify it all in the same way Don Imus did back in 2007, by blaming it on Hip Hop.

Rush said on his radio show:

You talk about a double standard. One of the greatest illustrations of it is that rappers can practically say anything they want about women, and it’s called art.
