According to FayObserver J. Cole’s Dreamville Foundation is readying a Mother’s Day writing contest.

The Fayetteville native introduced the “Nobody’s Perfect” writing contest for local kids.

The contest encourages kids to honor their mothers (or primary caretakers) using creative writing to express their gratitude. The contest is open to active youth members of Fayetteville Urban Ministry’s Find-A-Friend program.

The theme of the essay plays off Cole’s song, “Nobody’s Perfect,” which features Missy Elliott, and entrants must write an essay or poem completing the statement, ‘Nobody’s Perfect but my mother is perfect for me…’

Who else can you expect this from, than the guy who brought his mom as his date to the Grammys.
